Confabulation PC Game Overview

You wake up at home, but something is not right. As you look around your home, you begin to notice that things are different from what you remember. You use the camera to take photos, to uncover the truth, to remember what was there. Your memory is fading; the longer things stay different, the faster you give in.

Keys to be found, mysteries to be solved, a house to be explored. You need to keep your memory intact in order to put the pieces of your life back together and remember who you are and what happened. Only then will you get the peace you desire. During your playthrough, you will need to study the layout of the house and how each room looks like.

Things will change over time, and it's up to you to fix those changes to keep your sanity. The more you let your sanity drain, the more horror elements will happen and things will change. If you let your sanity run out too far, you will give in and lose. There is no save, losing will end your game and you will need to start over.

1. Take photos of objects that have changed to bring them back to normal and prevent loss of sanity.
2. Solve puzzles throughout the house to unlock new rooms.
3. Put together story elements to develop the main story and find out what happened. By putting together the whole story, you win.
4. Take pills to restore your memory and control your sanity.
5. All puzzles, moving objects, horror elements, and story elements are randomized each time you play, allowing you to play multiple times to make each game look different.
6. Normal and hard difficulty setting, both difficulty unlocked from the start.
7. Normal difficulty should be an appropriate challenge, and the longer you play, the harder it gets.
8. High difficulty should be very challenging, offering many new things to change, increased puzzle difficulty, and less overall time.
