Story

Darkness Reborn is a medieval fantasy RPG. It consists of a very dark story of a wizard with a rather dark background seeking to regain his powers. He is cruel, ruthless, merciless and very strong. He is not interested in any pathetic feelings.

He does not know compassion, he does not feel sorry for those whose souls he takes. The only thing he feels is pain. And power. He needs to collect a lot to counter the forces of the Light Realm. He will do anything to get this power, including stealing your soul to burn it. His name is Sevarog.

Sevarog came to this world already in the afterlife, just like most of his relatives once roamed it. We do not know how they managed to escape from the chains of death, we only know that it takes incredible strength to do so. We also don't know how Sevarog survived the Great Purge, but he's here.

He is your deepest fears, your imagination of the worst possible human abomination. He is you.

Gameplay

Darkness Reborn Gameplay is a simple storytelling game with little combat, search and resource management. It starts with an introduction followed by a very short tutorial right at the heart of the game. The next objectives for the next quest are always in the upper right corner of the screen. For the main story, the objective of the quest is also clearly visible from afar, thanks to highly visible purple patches of light.

However, the quest path itself is not visible because the game does not want to play itself instead of the user. Even though this game is quite short, most of the time it keeps the game state saved except for very important events that should not be disturbed. While traveling through a mostly open world, you will encounter many enemies.

Some of them may be weak, some may not. There are also several bosses waiting to test your skills, some of them are really powerful.
