Metal Black S-Tribute PC Game Overview

Metal Black is a 2D game originally released by Taito as a side-scrolling arcade shooter in 1991. This game is a reproduction of the home console version released by Bing in 1996.

Bonuses

Level up your beam by grabbing power-ups floating on the screen called NEWALONE (round molecules in red, blue and yellow). There are five levels (MAX is the highest) to power up your hits. When the beam gauge is full, you can perform energy beam attacks. However, the beam gauge will decrease with each of these attacks, and once it is empty, attacking with beam energy will be impossible.

There are two types of beam energy attacks.

Focused Beam: Performs a focused attack forward while the Energy Shot button is pressed and held. When the beam sensor is at maximum, the MAX lasers will be fired. Beam Release: When the Beam Gauge reaches its maximum level, pressing the Energy Shot button will unleash an attack that will damage all enemies.

The boss of each stage also uses beam energy attacks. When your ship's beam collides with the boss' beam, a huge ball of energy is created that moves from the higher caliber side to the lower caliber side.

Convenient functions and option settings are available only in S-Tribute.

Rewind

Rewind the gameplay to a certain time and resume it.

Quick save/load

Save your game state at any time.

Internet rating

Switch to online ranking mode in settings to enter your score into the online leaderboard and compare your scores with others.

Unlimited credits

The limit on the number of continues can be disabled, allowing for an infinite number of continues.

Select stage

The game can be started from any stage.

Scan lines

Simulates the nostalgic display of a CRT monitor.
